Like A Little Boy Again
On Christmas Eve when everybody started greeting each other a very Merry Christmas, I pulled hubby to our room so I would be the first one to give him a gift. I was quite nervous because I didn’t know what would his reaction be since I got torn between titanium watches and a new cell phone. Good thing that I stuck with the former because I don’t think that I’ll ever see him as happy as he was if I got him another gadget which he already has a lot. His smile was priceless. He looked like a little boy who just got a shiny red toy car for a present.
Lesson Learned the Hard Way
I’m on the brink of losing my mind on how to make my eyelash grow back already! I don’t know what else to use or what else to try. I shouldn’t have listened to my friend when she said that I should cut it so when it grows back it will be thicker and longer now it looks like I don’t even have any and mind you I have spent hundreds already just to make like the way it used to but to no avail. I have learned my lesson the hard way and sad to say that it cost me my lashes. Next time, I won’t just listen to anyone before doing anything. I will research and ask around first. Tsk, tsk, tsk!
Exact Same
On the morning of the eve of Christmas, I remember that I was still doing last minute Xmas shopping for the boys. Every single year, I always find it so hard to think of gifts for them that’s why they are always the ones on the last on the list. Compared to women that you could give almost anything and they will all find it cute, men on the other hand dislike cute items coz that would make them gay if they do. So to make things easy, I got all of them exact same gifts, Martor USA utility knives. And what do you know they were really happy to receive one.
While We Work
Our Nanny has been with us for more than 3 years already. She first came here when my daughter was just barely a month old. She used to be very good in taking care of our girl but lately it seems that she tends to forget a lot of things or just being plain negligent of my child’s needs. The culprit is Television. She got so addicted to it that she can’t take off her eyes of it. My husband already suggested to install security cameras around the house. So we will find out if she’s really doing her job as a Nanny or not while we are away and working in the office. I know that hubby did not mean any harm, he’s just worried for the safety of our only child. I’m still thinking about it but I might give in soon since there were a number of instances of her negligence already.
Out of Harm’s Way
It’s now the Fall season and even though it’s somewhat windy and chilly already playing baseball never stops for some of the kids. I bet some parents out there are having trouble in finding ways how to keep their children protected from the cold weather. It’s not enough to let them wear thicker clothing; they need something that would somehow keep their hands warm too.
Since baseball is quite a forceful sport, you’ve got to have the right equipment to keep your kids safe and away from harm. As parents it’s important to make sure that your kids are properly geared before every game. I’m sure you don’t want any mishaps to happen to any of your children while the game is going on. You should really make them feel secure and confident for them to truly enjoy the game.
It’s actually the same thing in picking baseball equipments for them specifically Batting Gloves because there will be a lot of hand movements in this sport. It is important to choose something that fits them very well, comfortable enough and of course durable and of world class quality to guard their hands not only from accidents but most importantly from the cold season. When you have this in mind you’ll know that your children are secured.
Check out Franklin Sports’ Baseball Equipment. Having the proper equipment and mind set will save you all the trouble. So better buy the proper baseball equipment for your kid only from a trustworthy company like Franklin Sports. You’re kid will be out of harm’s way with Franklin Sports.
Amazing Kid
My niece Hazel expresses an intention that she wants to be an equestrian someday. She’s very fascinated with horses. She even loves stories where horses have the starring roles. In fact her most favorite of all is the timeless tale of Black Beauty. She even memorizes the english horse tack terminologies. That’s how serious she is and mind you she’s just 7 years old.
Extraordinary Christmas
Exactly one month and two days from now, it’s going to be the birthday of the most important person in the world, My Jesus, Our Lord. It has been years since the Christmas Spirit has left me or it was the other way around. Ever since my grandmother died, it was hard for me to celebrate Christmas like we used to. This year, I hope to revive and regain that once lost Christmas Spirit by looking for it in unexpected places, in the most unpredictable people, in unforeseen events. This year I’d make a pass on one of the nikon cameras that I have been wanting to have and spend my time looking for my extraordinary Christmas.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
On December 8, my SIL will be giving birth to her twin girls. The entire household can’t contain our excitement for the coming of these two bundles of joy in our family. Sadly, I’ll be out of the country during that day but when I come back, I’ll be bringing the girls an armful of presents. I’d search online as well to look for first christmas gifts for baby ideas. It’s double the fun because we’ll have not just one but two wonderful additions to our growing family. Can’t wait for Christmas!
Changing Topics
Went out for a coffee with one of my good friends and we have talked about so many things but mostly about life in general. She even narrated how her youngest brother died from a car accident. She said that it was really an unfortunate night when his brother passed away, there was no roadside assistance in sight because it was raining so hard. She even showed me the pictures and the car was in total wreck. She cried uncontrollable tears again while she was telling me the story that’s why I thought of changing the topic right away because people in the coffee shop were starting to throw us curious looks already. But I salute her because it was really a hard story to tell, a death of a loved one.
Wishful Thinking
I can never forget what happened on September 26, 2009. It was the worst typhoon that ever hit our country. Typhoon Ketsana left thousands and thousands of people homeless and family less aswell. It was sudden but it wreaked havoc and dumped the thickest and greatest amount of rain that caused the worst flood ever in the Philippine history. That’s why people were so traumatized by it that every time it rains hard we get scared that it might be another Ketsana episode. How I wiss our goverment is well funded enough so they could provide fiberglass storm shelter for each and every family. How I really wish.
