My Best Friend’s Boys

My guy best friend Dennis happens to settle in the US. And though there is a H1N1 flu scare there right now, his kids still can’t be stopped to wander around. His boys just love to go to so many places. It’s as if these kids never run out of energy. They are always on the move. That’s why their Dad promised them that next weekend they’ll be visiting another new place. And next on their list is Westgate.

Santa costume

After the Halloween party for kids, our office admin hinted that there would be Christmas for kids also! Well, I know that it is a regular thing for others but it would be the first time that our company would do it. It was always during the Halloween that our kids could come to our workplace. I am so excited about it. I already bought a Santa costume for my daughter. Look at it! Isn’t it pretty?

I've got skeleton in my closet!

Okay, I stayed at home for the entire sick days and I have raided all the possible websites I could think of. I was physically and I hope mentally well except for the unsightly vesicles on my lower back and anterior left leg. I have tried rearranging my room and cleaning up my closet and I was surprised to learn that I have these body stockings. I burst into laughter

Pearls and me

I don’t understand why people here in my country believe that single woman should not be wearing pearl earrings. They say that pearl represents woman’s tears in relation to failed relationship. Os since I don’t believe them, I still wear my favorite freshwater pearls earrings and necklace. Now, I am thinking, I have been single for so many years already, do you think it has connection to pearls?

A precious piece

watches.jpg

My friend has a collection of luxury watches. When his husband was abroad, the only present that he knew to give her was a watch. Yes, there can be days that you will see her wearing a different one. No, she is not complaining at all. She loves having those possessions. After all, who can live without having that precious piece in your wrist?

Looking great

medical-id.jpgAs I child, I wanted to work in the hospitals. People working there look great, clean and dignify wearing their white uniform and medical id. I think that adds to every child’s dream to be a part of the medical field. But of course, the main reason is to be of service to the sick and the needy. To be a doctor, a nurse, a physical therapist, a medical technician, and other medical related professions will always be a noble job.

Tell the Devil I’m wearing this…

Whoever said that fashion does not go with comfort he or she must not have slipped in Dansko. If shoes are made from high quality materials and the design gives consideration to durability and comfort then you could strut your way down to the streets and in your office. You don’t’ have to suffer form terrible swollen feet at the end of the day.

So watch?

Yeah, it’s a pun. I started to get fond of watches when I got my very first Swiss watch some eight years ago. It was the first reward I got myself for my first check. It’s good to invest on time pieces that are sure to last a life time. I’m thinking of getting myself a Chanel J12. It’s French made so it must be a haute couture!

Fashion jewelry

fashion.jpgI do really have a passion for fashion. That is why, when I order things like clothes or jewelry, I look for wholesalers. It is really cheaper and sometimes, I am being given some freebies and discounts as token of appreciation. Especially those jewelries sometimes are very expensive. Last Christmas, that wholesale fashion jewelry store that I always go into really gave me savings and made my friends happy too!

Revamp That Look

I’m a self-confessed fashionate (passionate about fashion). I follow the latest trends by donning on only the most-up-to-date styles of clothes, shoes and accessories. Being in fashion doesn’t mean that you have to wear designer clothes or the exorbitantly priced haute couture (Read: high fashion in French). Since fashion is fast evolving, it is important for you to make a statement, your very own fashion statement.

I know one person whose jewelry designs stood out because she did not just limit her materials to fancy stones and gold but also uses pewter and brass to give you that vintage-y and classy look. Feeling a little nostalgic or a little bold? Then buy one of her Victorian era inspired necklaces or her hip and funky designed earrings. Since jewelry making has been her passion for sometime now, I can say that she creates with her heart and designs with her soul making all her pieces timeless and original. Drop by her Multiply account and see and experience real fashion for yourself.

Unlike other sellers, she does not mass produce to maintain the distinctiveness and uniqueness of her designs. For a buyer like me, I’ll be at ease that I won’t bump into somebody on the street wearing the same neck piece or earrings that I bought from her, because that would be really humiliating. That’s why she keeps the production of her designs only to a minimum.

If you would like to purchase one of her beautiful pieces, you may visit her Vstore at Trinketbelle or you may drop by at Irene’s Closet located at Archaeology Wing, R2 Rockwell Power Plant Mall and start pumping up your look like never before.

Yes, Love Always

Here are the two beautiful neck pieces that I bought from her. Yes, Love Always and Tim’s Garden.
