Not everything that glitters is gold

We have made up our Christmas wish lists in time in the hopes that someone close to us would get a hint of our heart’s desire to get for the Yuletide. From the simple ones up to the extravagant ones name it, it’s one our lists. If you are the artistic type of person, how would you react if you receive a gift from George Lindemann Jr? It’s called the Garden of Earthly Delights by Raqib Shaw. I’m referring to the paintings I saw online with very intricate details. The gallery is so user friendly making you feel that you actually visited the museum where the exhibit is being held. I don’t know exactly anything about the panting materials. Well, I know a couple of materials like canvass and oil but when there is a mention of glitter, stones, crystals, rhinestones, and gems on board the painting, now that’s girl talk!

As easy as 1-2-3

When I graduated from college, I thought that I was done dealing with Math. Guess I was wrong, because as we start to plan on having our own small business with my friend in San Diego, we are facing with tax plans and preparations. Business comes with taxations and lots of accounting. These are the facts that we cannot ignore. I have to learn so much about the San Diego tax law that the readings make us want to go nuts! None of us are Math majors or even Mathematically inclined because the equations make our world turn upside down. We need someone who’s expert in detailing to us the 4-1-1 of taxations without us getting through the hardships of memorizing the accounting and tax jargons. Math is hard as it is. And we need someone to trust who will guide us regarding our need for legal, tax, accounting and management consulting services.

Say cheese! Always…

Whenever I’m being introduced to someone, I can’t help it but to look the person not in the eye but I always end up staring at his or her teeth. For some reason, I find joy in seeing people with perfect set of pearly white teeth. Now that I have mentioned, I have learned from a friend about this Washington DC cosmetic dentist. Before, this friend of mine was so insecure about her misaligned and discolored teeth that she intentionally did not say cheese in every picture of her taken. Good thing she learned about the highly trained cosmetic dentists in Washington who have perfected combining their artistic skills with scientific knowledge to deliver excellent results. She made appointment for a consultation with an expert and now, she is all smiles. I have never seen her this confident before. This confidence radiates from the inside out to her glowing smile.

Work hard, party harder!

My friend has just migrated to California third quarter this year. Being new and alone in a place miles away from home makes her want to pack her bag and leave the land of mild and honey. Until our college friend in San Diego introduced to her the San Diego night life. Now, you can hardly catch her at home every night especially on weekends. She enjoys clubbing so much. According to her, the party places this side of California are way better than the ones she used to hang out at in the Philippines.

This New Year, I know that she won’t be feeling homesick even though she’s away from her family. She is so excited in taking part in the New Year party San Diego style. I learned from her that each club is cooking something special to add zest to every party animal’s clubbing experience.

Now I envy her!
