Fitflop Crazy!
I know that you know already that I am a shopaholic and if there’s anything new that’s out in the market that has gotten my fancy; I won’t stop until I get it. Well, I have my limits too of course. I don’t buy a bag that is more than 5k, 1k is enough for a piece of clothing and 2.5k is a lot already for a pair of footwear or so I thought. You can check my shoe rack and you will not find a single pair of shoes that is exorbitantly priced. My most expensive is around 2.3k only and that’s a low-cut stenciled Ed Hardy Geisha thus the price but still it’s really not expensive at all. I wasn’t planning to go beyond that price range for footwear, when I saw Fitflop being advertised by one of the Facebookers. I got really interested and started researching about them. And I wasn’t disappointed to learn that Fitflop is not just for fashion purposes, it’s good for your leg, calf and gluteal muscles too. It improves posture and muscle tone as well. And that is all thanks to the Microwobbleboard technology. So to make the long story short I bought one for 6k because it’s the limited edition and exclusively designed by the great Anna Sui for Fitflop. It was just sold in the UK and US so I have to thank online shops that I have one right now. I want to have Electra in Pewter, Rebel in Black, Pietra in Silver, Walkstar 3 in Lipstick and Walkstar Classic in Pink (Limited Spring Edition). I have already ordered my Walkstar 3 Snakeskin, Riata in Amethyst and Limited Edition Mickey Mouse in Bronze. They are all coming at the end of October! Can’t hardly wait for them! I have to saved up starting now so I can pay for them all. So it’s going to be save, save, save for me from now on all for the love of Fitflops!
Here’s my first one Fiorella in Bronze and keep posted to my Limited Mickey Mouse in Bronze, Walkstar III Snakeskin and Riata in Amethyst.
A Wedding to Remember
I really feel for a good friend of mine when all the terrible things have to happen on her special day, her wedding day. Her make-up artist came very late because of gimmicking until the wee hours in the morning the previous night. She can’t start her photo shoot without her make-up on so her photographer and the rest of the team has to wait for her and all that’s included in the entourage to be finished first before they can start with their thing. It resulted to them being really late to get in the church and her bridal march had to be scrapped off from the program! Imagine a wedding without the bride marching on the aisle to meet the love of her life at the end of it, truly unthinkable! And to top it all, it rained like cats and dogs and hers was a garden wedding. It was a horrendous day for her. And we the guests couldn’t find the right words to pacify her. We are just thankful that his husband has always been a good-natured guy and took it all like a big practical joke from the heavens. He said that God must have played a trick on them to test how much they really love each other. That even if the wedding was a “disaster” it was just one day but they still have the rest of their lives to create wonderful and beautiful memories that will live forever. That was just the sweetest thing that we have ever heard and it even brought tears to our eyes. My friend was so choked up that she was speechless and wasn’t able to say her thanks to the attendees personally. It was okay we didn’t mind at all that’s why we were surprised when we received personalized note cards from the newlyweds thanking us for attending and staying at their wedding in spite of all and most especially for making their special day more special because of our presence. They are such a sweet couple. My very best wishes to them.
Christmas, I Like!
It’s already the start of the “Ber” months and here in our country it is such a big deal for us because that is our cue to start our early Christmas shopping! I just love all kinds of shopping. Either face to face or online but I really do prefer the latter since I really don’t like the hustle and bustle being experienced by Christmas shoppers. Christmas is my most favorite Holiday in the world. It’s when the people are happiest and the nicest. It’s just a sad thought that some still wait for Christmas to come before they stop being “naughty” and start being nice. But just the same, nothing or no one can let my spirits down come Christmas time. So as early as now I am already doing not my shopping yet but canvassing at Best Buy so I’d have an idea what to give my loved ones this Holiday Seasons.
Waiting Game
I was saddened by the news that one of Hollywood’s great actors of all time might succumbed to the Big C soon. I have read in the papers that Michael Douglas’ throat cancer when found out was already in the terminal stage which is 4. It’s so heartbreaking to know especially that he’s got kids that are still young and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones might lose a husband at an early age as well. My heart goes out to him and to his family. My maternal grandmother died of cancer too, colon cancer and just like Michael Douglas it was found out too late. She wasn’t able to prepare for her demise because it was so sudden. I just hope that Michael would consider getting a no exam life insurance so should anything happen to him, the burden and pain of preparing for his death will be lifted off from their shoulders. I just know how it feels to wait for someone you love so much to die and it’s the worst feeling in the world. I just hope that his family will be spared from any of that. But that is just fairly impossible.
