Until We Meet Again
Finally summer is over, I think. After enduring more than 2 months of extremely hot weather, we are experiencing occasional rains here in the country. Not that I do not like the sun but the heat wave was mind and body sweltering! Even A/C’s cannot seem to cover up the hot climate. I even wake up in the middle of the night sweating like a pig! Since summer is bidding its goodbye already, it’s time to put the barbeque grills and the outdoor furniture back to storage until summer says hello again.
Fight The Good Fight
Last two months ago my Mother-in-law’s blood rises when she saw our electric bills. Imagine from 16k it reached 23k without doing anything extra that would make our consumption shoot up crazily like that! And then we saw on TV the many consumers like us complaining and getting angry with the Electric Company for the unfair charges. Wish know someone who is an energy auditor who would explain to us why the sudden shy high increase so we would understand why we need to pay that much. But since we do not one, we might as well just join the fight against unjust price increase.
Not Your Ordinary Legwarmers
My Father-in-law has been suffering from diabetes for many years already. From the time he was diagnosed, he suddenly became a watchful eater. And not only is he vigilant with what he puts in his mouth but also he makes it appoint to exercise every day. This sickness taught him so many things. He even uses diabetic socks to keep his feet healthy. It promotes good blood circulation too. I admire him for taking care of his body.
Tinker Belle
I am a certified gadget geek. On top of my being a self-confessed shopaholic, I have realized that I am head over heels in love with these thingamajigs. Actually, just recently I acquired the first ever internet tablet mobile phone being carried by the leading cell phone maker in the world. Whenever I can afford it, I buy the newest device being offered in the market. I love to tinker and I find joy discovering its limitless possibilities. I might just delve into that techie side of me again soon since I’m seriously contemplating on buying a new laptop, Sony VAIO that is. I just have to come up with valid reasons first why I need to dispense with my current lappy so hubby won’t get angry.
