Raging Hormones
My friend and colleague Cathy who has just given birth to her first child developed a skin condition that was brought about by her still raging hormones. The worst that I have ever seen acnes grew all over her face. And I am not talking about regular size ones but really massive ones. Her face has become all puffy and red and it seems like it is really swollen. Too bad that she has developed inferiority complex because of this. Now she is looking for the best acne treatment that could clear all her acnes away. She longs to have her soft, rosy and supple skin back once again.
Sexy No More
Gone are the days when it is still easy to lose weight. As you age, your metabolism slows down and it’s very hard to shed off flabs if you are living a sedentary life. Take for example my sister in law who used to be very slim physique during her younger years. She was the envy of many and they come to her for advices on how to keep your body in shape with no fuss. She was allergic to exercise then she ate everything she wanted but still managed to have a lean and slender body. Well that was before. Now she’s turning 29 soon and she gained a lot of weight that she feels so heavy and not sexy like she used to be. She cut down on rice, jogs every night and exercises everyday but her weight on the weighing scale barely budges. She’s quite hopeless that she can do it on her own that’s why she arms herself with noxycut review to find the best slimming product in the market. She thinks that with a balnced meal, exercice and diet supplement she can again regain her title of being the sexy girl in the family.
Nothing but the Best!
My cousin is one diligent fellow. That’s why if there is one person in this world who deserves a little luxury every once in awhile that’s my cousin Jon. He saved every penny he has to be able to get his dream car. It took him years of patience and frugality I should say before he got his first luxury car, a Ferrari. I have drooled over the pictures he sent to my email and was so happy that finally all his hardwork paid off. He even looked for a Ferrari parts supplier just in case he would be needing one. Nothing but the best for his new baby.
Those Were the Days
I’m really worried about my rapid weight gain. Even if I only eat bread for breakfast and half rice for lunch and dinner I still gain weight. I try to cut down on sweets too but there is still no difference. Instead of losing pounds, I gain more! Unbelievable but true. Blame it on age. A person’s metabolism slows down when one grows old. And I admit I am no longer getting young. I’ve already turned 32 just this month and I did notice the great change in my metabolism. Now if I pig out a little I already need weight loss supplements to get back in shape. Before all I need is just a lil exercise and all is well. But those were the days…
One Day Soon
I’m just so proud of my friend Mems who’s already got a college graduate for a daughter. She had her when she was just 16 years old and never regretted anything. Keeshia is the greatest thing that ever happened to her. That’s why though it breaks her heart, she’ll allow her daughter to work abroad. She wants nothing but to be an instrument of Keeshia’s success. For now they will spend more time with each other as much as they can. Soon she’ll be leaving and Philadelphia job search tops her list.
Somebody Stop Me!
Daddy is in a shopping craze for months now. And I’m not talking about clothes or accessories here. He suddenly got fond of gadgets and appliances. He changed all our appliances and even his cellphones. It’s like he wants everything in the house new and shiny. He just bought a 64 inch flat screen TV and he’s planning to purchase a home theater seating as well. Once he starts the spending spree there is simply no stopping him.
So Long!
Our almost 8 years old AUV is going to bid its farewell soon. My father in law plans to sell it to buy a new and shiny one. I have so many good memories in that vehicle. It was the vehicle used by my husband, my boyfriend then when we first met. It was what we have used to the many fun dates and out of town trips before we got engaged and finally got married 3 years ago. So you see it’s not just a piece of metal to me, its family. But I guess I just have to let go now and start looking for really good car insurance reviews for the new “addition” in the family.
Atopic Dermatitis
Of all the things that Sophie would inherit from us her parents, it never dawned on us that she’ll get our allergies too. She’s allergic to a lot of things even to cow’s milk that’s why she drinks hydrolyzed whey instead of milk. She’s got atopic dermatitis and is allergic to tomatoes, dairy products, eggs, chicken, nuts especially peanuts and a whole lot more. She loves dogs but she can’t get too close to any of our pets because she’s sensitive to animal dander as well. And would you believe that she uses a hypo-allergenic detergent for her clothes and even have allergy bedding to manage her allergies? Poor baby!
Tooth Fairy
I cannot comprehend why something as small as a pea can hurt me so much. And when it does hurt, I feel like my whole body is affected as well. I’m talking about a tooth. Right now I’m in pain because aside from having sweet tooth for sugar laden food, my wisdom tooth is coming out. Talk about being a late bloomer huh? I remember when I was still a child and still believed in fairy tales, I’d always feel happy every time a tooth of mine would fall off because I know that the tooth fairy would come and replace it with money. Now of course I already know that Mom was the “tooth fairy” that would carefully snuck into my room and takes my tooth and places paper bills under my pillow when I was fast asleep. It’s a totally different thing now, I have to see a dentist and after extracting my out of place wisdom tooth instead of giving me a paper bill in exchange for it, I’ll be the one to give him money to pay for his services. How I wish tooth fairies were real.
