Still Broken

If you have read my old post about our broken toilet seat and the promise that hubby made to fix it pronto then you’ll be able to relate when I tell you that it is and very much…still broken! It’s 2010 already but hubby can’t seem to keep any of his promises to fix everything that’s broken in the house. He’s a very good husband though, but he’s definitely no handyman. I’ve learned my lesson next time I’ll only trust American Standard toilets. I know that I can’t go wrong with it.

Mobile Eye

After my cousin Eddie watched a very disturbing video where a nanny abuses a two year old kid (by kicking her in the stomach and slapping her hard on the face) he now can’t stop talking about installing security cameras around his house to monitor his nanny’s behavior toward his 8-month old daughter whenever he and his wife are not around. He suddenly became paranoid and started canvassing for really good ones. In fact, I just got off the phone with him now and said that he’ll be installing the cams this coming weekend when the nanny goes out on a day-off. Can’t blame him, he’s just after the safety and welfare of his child. I will do the same if the situation calls for it. But for now, I don’t think I need it. My nanny loves our little Sophie like her own.
