In Best Hands

Today is my good friend Allan’s birthday. We used to work for the same company but then he resigned and tried his luck abroad. And he was lucky enough to be accepted at one of the leading Telcos in New Jersey as network engineer. His job pays very well but is very risky since they are required to climb really tall cell sites whenever there’s a service outage. That’s the reason that he never fails to bring his safety products whenever he goes to work. He knows that he’ll be in best hands with it.

I’d Rather

My friend Anna who loves to promise that she’ll be starting to diet soon made an exact same promise that is bound to be broken again, ha! ha! She just can’t resist food most especially meat and sweets. She’s cranky the whole day whenever she attempts to diet that’s why it always lasted for just a day. I’d rather have her chubby and happy than thin and cantankerous. But if she’s really serious this time I’ll be recommending for her to take apidexin instead.

Lets Get Physical Part 2

The cold months just makes me so lethargic! Most of the time all I want to do is lie down and sleep the day away. And when I am in the office, I seldom get up from my work station except for occasional trips to the john and eating my lunch I just prefer sitting down doing my job. I know that there’s a huge price that I’ve got to pay when I continue this sedentary life of mine, I will get fat for the nth time. So starting today with the aid of my slimming pill , I will get physical again to regain my shape.

Breath of Fresh Air

My uncle Gary who is living in the city would like to take a break from the hustle and bustle of his fast paced life there. He said that the noise and air pollution get to his nerves most of the times and he finds it so exhausting already. That’s why this coming holidays seasons he will be spending a different Christmas with his family. They will be out on a relaxing trip to one of Outer Banks vacations. Good thinking I told him. It will be such a breath of fresh clean air for all of them.

Christmas Raffle

You know what I look forward to in hubby’s company Xmas party? It’s not the gourmet food, fun program or even the lavish gifts but it’s the most awaited yearly Christmas raffle that excites me. Actually, it’s the anticipation of getting the night’s biggest prize which hubby heard from the grapevine is a brand new, state of the art, enormously shiny Samsung HDTV. Who knows I might get lucky this year.

About A Boy

My nephew Fonzy is having a fieldtrip this coming Friday and he just cannot contain his excitement. All he talks and thinks about is his impending out of town trip. He already PM’d me thru FB awhile ago asking for some extra cash so he can start buying his loots already. He loves wandering in fact when he was still in high school, he was caught cutting classes several times already because he easily gets bored and leaves for museum trips, art galleries and musical concerts. He’s got eyes and ears for beauty. Actually he finds beauty in almost anything even metal buildings that other people find boring, interests him. I hope he lands a job where he could explore and harness his inclination towards the arts. He can be a real pain in the neck sometimes but I still love that boy just the same.

All I Want For Christmas

I am not really a boob tube person. In fact I can live without that even the internet but I will surely perish if books will be totally gone from this planet. But when I do watch, I expect it to be a fun and enjoyable experience. Of course I want to be entertained that’s why I only view those that have good storyline. I always go for the quality in almost everything. Even though it’s a bit pricey compared to others I really do not mind as long as it has remarkable quality. That’s why what I want for Christmas is not my two front teeth but two LCD tvs; one for the living room and one for our bedroom. I hope Santa can read this.

When It Rains, It Pours

You don’t have to be a psychic to know that you are in for a bad day. From the time that you wake up, you will feel it in your bones. You just know that mishaps will be happening one after the other. From slipping on a bar of soap in the bathroom, to spilling coffee on your shirt (which made you late for an important appointment) that caused you nervous breakdown to being caught in a traffic jam which brought about your rv breakdown. It’s so frustrating because you cannot do anything about it when the gods of misfortune plays tricks on you. You just have to take all the blows and punches and wish that the day will end soon.

Aloha!

The tropical state that I would most likely to visit someday is no other than Hawaii. Hawaii with its beautiful beaches, white sands and palm trees depicts paradise for me. Boasting of gigantic and wild waves that surfers love would be one of the greatest fears that I would love to conquer one day, my hydrophobia. I’ve got an extreme fear of the ocean especially monstrous waves. I do love watching surfers do their thing but I don’t have enough courage to come near it. I already told hubby that I would like to start taking surfing lessons as soon as possible so I’d be able to enjoy every bit of Hawaii when we finally go there. We have already found one of the best honolulu hotels that we would like to stay at. I just need to face my fear and finish my surfing lessons and we’ll be ready to say “Aloha, Hawaii!”
