Here comes the sun

It is summer once again and everybody is ready to delight in the sun.This is the best time for barbeque cookouts. That means it’s time to bring out the outdoor furniture again. It is fun to reminisce the past especially the funny moments while sharing good food and memories with your loved ones. It is what I love about summer. It brings families and friends closer to one another through extraneous activities that are both pleasurable and enjoyable.

Amusing and Amazing Howie

Do you want to watch something really amusing? I saw one of Howie Mandel’s buy.com videos on You Tube and it made me chuckle. It was short and there was no beating around the bush thus conveyed it’s message about Sale to its viewers effectively. Plus the appearance of his son Alex added up to the hilarity of the video. I don’t want to spoil the fun so go now and watch it!

Studyholic

Summer is fast approaching and my newly graduated niece Pao can’t seem to get enough of studying. Now she wants to enroll in a medical assistant training school. Not that I don’t approve of it, its just that I want her to enjoy the sun first before studying again. I just don’t want her to feel burn out someday because she did not give herself time to relax and have fun. Well, I hope she listens to me.

Hoodieholic

Have you ever heard of such? Im a real sucker for hoodies. I don’t remember how my addiction started, I guess like all of us “addicts” say it just happened. I’m thinking of buying another hoodie. I’ve been eyeing one, I mean two in Ebay lately. Just one design but in different colors. I’m quite confused on what to get. I don’t know if I’ll go with the pink since I already have tons of pink in my closet or for the blue which I have a whole lot too. Here are the pics of the really cute reversible Chickadee hoodies:

Keyed Up Mom!

Do you know how excited I am about Sophie? When I was just a few months pregnant, I already bought everything that she might need while growing up. I even purchased a purple and yellow combination toddler toothbrush and berry flavored toothpaste. I’ve got an Oragel handy too in case she suffers from pain brought about by teething. I can’t wait to see her in jammies bringing a toothbrush and trying to reach the sink to brush her teeth. But of course I’m all for bathroom safety. I’ve bought a stepper and a non-slip rubber mat for her use when that time comes. For now we are still waiting for her teeth to come out. All we see are tooth buds. Her Pediatrician said that her gums are starting to become swollen and it’s an indication that she doesn’t have to wear a gum full smile on her photographs any longer. My baby girl will have teeth soon.

Promo Girls?

I heard from the grapevine that our company has very low ROI for the past two months. Maybe that is the reason why we are being asked to inject cross selling in some of our transactions. Since we’re from support group and not from sales we feel like promo girls offering promotional products to our subscribers. Not that there’s something wrong about it but it’s an added burden to our already heavy workload . Oh, well as if we’ve got a choice. Willing or not we have to do it or else we might be included in the list of the employees that they are going to let go next.

Beach Beaute

Here is Sophie’s picture in Baby Gap Floral Orange and Pink Swimsuit. The size is for a 12 month to 18 month old baby but it fits her very well already at 8 months! My doll is growing big so fast.  She’s just oh so adorable in it! She love’s the camera and it’s pretty obvious that she loves attention too. Oh, sweetie you did not fail on that one. We just can’t take our eyes off of you. You’re such a looker!

A Star is Born!

Can’t wait to bring you to the beach honey! One of these days mommy will. I promise you that.

What Luck!

My team mate Choi won a ticket for two to the most beautiful white beach sands of Boracay! She went to the mall to window shop when she was convinced by a travel agent to fill out a form for their raffle on a trip to Boracay. Because the woman was constantly bugging and following her she decided to end her annoyance by finally conceding and filled-out the form thinking that it would be a real stroke of luck if she wins. After filling-out she went on her way and did what she really planned on doing in the first place and that was to window shop. After a week she received a call from a woman with a very excited voice and said that she won free stay at hotel for two in Boracay! She was dumbfounded but very much elated and called her cousin right away to share the good news and that she wanted her to come with her on this special trip. Her cousin was overjoyed and they did not waste any more time and called the airlines to book a ticket. Until now she still couldn’t believe her luck. Well, better believe it friend you already have proof in your hand. Have fun in the sun!
