No Other Way

My husband’s family business of hardware and plastics involves visiting various places in the country. They have trucks of different uses to speed up bulk deliveries of goods. A good truck driver is imperative in meeting the timelines or deadlines set by the customers. But it’s very unfortunate that the driver hired early this year has already had four records of violating the traffic rules and regulations. Because of this we already lost some of our valued clients. I think there’s no other way but to suggest to hubby to retrain and enroll our driver to a good truck driving school to avoid anymore losses in the future. What do you think?

Preparing for the Inevitable

It is New Year’s Eve today and people are happily preparing for the coming year aside from my friend who is mourning right now. He just learned that one of his buddies passed away this morning at a tender age of 26. So young, still has so much to offer in life but was snatched away by death in an instant. You really cannot say when would be your last day on Earth so it’s always better to prepare for it while there’s time. To start checking for term life insurance quote while we are still young is not being morbid; it’s being prepared for the inevitable.

Reading and relaxing

Perhaps you have read my rants about the flick Twilight which was supposedly lifted from one of the bestseller books of the same title. Well, I am not going to milk my frustration instead I will just continue my passion for reading good and feel good reading materials. Reading makes me relax and feel detached from the chaos of this world. At least for a few hours though.

Getting lighter

In anticipation of my complete withdrawal from steroid after (hopefully) a month, I am planning on how I could shake off my unsightly “gains” fast and effectively. Gym? Check. I will avail of our company tie up with a nice gym. How about something that will speed up the process? Do you think Apidexin could make me feel and actually appear lighter?

Getting bigger

It’s official! I have crossed the border of fatness. I tried on some clothes yesterday at the mall and I no longer fit in small sizes. Medium hugs my body snugly and it is quite alarming because I am still on steroids at 20 mg until my next check up. Reality check, I might still blow up some more especially that it is a festive season.
Aaargh, I whish I could just pop on some best diet pills to melt down these excess baggage around my body.

The gift guide

It is almost Christmas and you have not gotten anything yet for your guy?
Check out these perfect ideas I got from E! about the most and would-be-surely-appreciated gifts for your significant other – cool gadgets, a full season of Soprano DVD, money clip from Tiffany’s, handy hardware and his hometown NFL jerseys.
I searched on the NFL Jerseys and found out this online shop that offers the coolest NFL uniform sets for only P39.99. Whatever team he is rooting for, they’ve got it here.
Also available online are National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, NCAA Collegiate merchandise such as Fan Faces, Rally Caps and Head wigs and other youth sports equipment. Worrying for the perfect gift for your little boy? They have also got NFL sets for kids so if you’ve got a full grown up boy and a little one, you could surprise them both (just a suggestion though)
Choose from ground, 3-day, 2-day or overnight delivery for a very minimal delivery fee. You have nothing to worry as these are all included in their Guaranteed Delivery service. The site has also a guaranteed secure online shopping that you could check through their customer ratings and review.
Bear in mind that gift giving should be fun and not a burden.
Oh and don’t forget to get them a locker.

Skinny, really?

Rumor has it or fact has it that ramp models are starving themselves just to keep the hanger look. That is why I am so surprised to learn that these Victoria Secrets models claim that they eat whatever they want. Yeah, life is fair, some people eat like pigs and they still look starved in skimpy lingerie.
I wish genes could be bottled and be chugged down.

Having it my way

In one of the stations in my return demonstration for intravenous therapy training, I had a hard time uncapping the needle of the IV catheter. I thought I was just nervous but it turned out that I am rotating it the other way. Good thing the preceptor was a cool guy and lectured me that the cap is like a faucet. Clockwise means close and counter clockwise means open. I just joked around and said “Sorry because what we have at home are Moen faucets.

Remind me

Aside from corkboard or bulletin board, where do you think is the best place to put your reminders like errands to run, medicines to pop, stuff to bring or just pictures of your pets or loved ones? Where else but on the fridge? But what will hold ‘em right up? magnets of course!
Am I freaking you out? I just bumped in our fridge while getting my favorite grape juice and yeah, a magnet just dove into my mug.
