Love Sonnet XVII

Pablo Neruda
(1904-1973)

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose or topaz,
Or the arrow of carnation the fire shoots off
I love as certain dark things are to be loved,
In secret, between the shadow and the soul

I love as the plant that never blooms
But carries in itself the light of hidden flowers
Thanks to your love, a certain solid fragrance
Risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body

I love you without knowing how, or when or from where
I love you straightforwardly
Without complexities or pride
So I love you, because I know no other way

Than this, where “I” does not exist, nor “you”

So close that your hand upon my chest is my hand

So close that when you close your eyes, I fall asleep.

I’ve Got the PPP virus and Loving It!

A few weeks ago I applied at Pay Per Post. At first my blog was rejected because it was not cached in any of the search engines yet. I was so depressed because I really wanted to be a part of the PPP family. And then I’ve utilized their suggested tools for my blog to be indexed by search engines and it worked!

You see my blog has already been declined but they gave me another chance to rectify the error and after which they still approved me. See how they take care of their potential members how much more if you already are a member? I wasn’t a member yet before but they’ve showed me nothing but concern. That was one of the happiest days of my life, when finally I became a certified Postie and now a part of a money earning but caring blog community like PPP. No other get-paid-to-blog programs will make you feel important as much as PPP does. Isn’t it great to know that a company as big as PPP doesn’t just care about how to make money but cares about you too? This is what sets them apart from all other sponsored blogging programs.

PPP offers a wide array of opportunities for both advertisers and bloggers. Meaning there are more chances of earning with PPP. So, why don’t you join in today and start spreading the PPP “virus” to your love ones and friends!

BEDOUIN SONG

 BEDOUIN SONG

by: Bayard Taylor (1825-1878)

FROM the Desert I come to thee

On a stallion shod with fire;

And the winds are left behind

In the speed of my desire.

Under thy window I stand,

And the midnight hears my cry:

I love thee, I love but thee,

With a love that shall not die

Till the sun grows cold,

And the stars are old,

And the leaves of the Judgment Book Unfold!

Look from thy window and see

My passion and my pain;

I lie on the sands below,

And I faint in thy disdain.

Let the night-winds touch thy brow

With the heat of my burning sigh,

And melt thee to hear the vow

Of a love that shall not die

Till the sun grows cold,

And the stars are old,

And the leaves of the Judgment Book Unfold!

My steps are nightly driven,

By the fever in my breast,

To hear from thy lattice breathed

The word that shall give me rest.

Open the door of thy heart,

And open thy chamber door,

And my kisses shall teach thy lips

The love that shall fade no more

Till the sun grows cold,

And the stars are old,

And the leaves of the Judgment Book Unfold!

P.S. It’s very romantic isn’t it? It’s like Romeo talking to Juliet. Ah, love!
